Massage Oil – Fall/Winter
- This fall/winter massage oil is made with a combination of carefully selected oils that are suitable for fall/winter season, like coconut oil, castor oil, sesame oil, mustard oil, grape seed oil and sweet almond oil. Each of these oils has a different effect on the body, and this mix has a combined overall effect that is ideal for fall/winter.
- The herbs used are known in Ayurveda for their great skin care benefits and calming effect on the body and mind like brahmi, tulsi/holy basil, ashwagandha, shatavari, rose petals. Brahmi has a very calming effect on the body and mind and is also known for its hair care benefits.
- Hints of eucalyptus make it a great natural fragrance for kapha reduction in fall and winter
Depending on the temperature of your house, this oil may either solidify in parts or whole or remain in the liquid form. Slightly warm oil is always best when applying on the skin, to enable faster absorption. Place the glass bottle with the cap securely fastened in a tub of hot water, ensuring that you don’t burn yourself. Keep out of reach of children. Please don’t make the oil too hot, you should be able to comfortably handle the temperature of the oil when you come in contact with it. If you suspect that the oil is too hot, wait for a few minutes and test carefully before applying to skin. Pour some warm oil into your palm, rub your palms together to spread the oil on your palms and then start applying to your skin. Let the oil soak in for a minimum of 10-15 minutes. That will help the oil and the herbs in it to soak in and work more effectively. Shower using your favorite body wash and lukewarm water. You may use the oil as frequently as you desire.
Store the oil in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the cap securely fastened to prevent leaks and spills. This oil will keep for months without spoiling, if you ensure that no water and/or moisture gets in.
