Ayurvedic Nutrition & Cooking Course

Flyer-AyurvedicNutritionCourse

Food is not just nutrition, it is considered as medicine in Ayurveda. The popular saying goes, “You are what you eat!”. In Ayurveda, this saying is refined to say, “You are what you digest!”. Meaning, irrespective of how good the food is, if our digestive fires are not able to effectively process the food eaten, we will not really reap any benefits of the food eaten. Which brings us to the inevitable fact that  the process of preparing a meal is a privilege and a task that entails a huge responsibility towards the recipients of the meal. There are many factors that go into the preparation of a good meal that nourishes not just the body, but also the mind and soul. In this course, we will delve deeper into this concept of Ayurvedic Nutrition and Cooking. The basis of this course is the solid ground of Ayurveda, an ancient science of health and medicine, that originated in India several thousands of years ago.
